Is India a child friendly destination?

If we were to be honest, India would not top the list for being the most child friendly destination to visit in the world.

There is considerable travel time involved in getting between destinations and regions. Food can be spicy and the stark differences from the west can be overwhelming. Also there is a complete absence of quality amusement parks.

On the other hand, you can opt for a slow paced trip. India has a number of National Parks, spotting birds and animals can be most enjoyable for kids. One can ride a camel, camp in the desert or spend an entire evening bathing and riding elephants. There are activities like Zipling across a fort or going hot air ballooning.

The beaches of Goa are warm even in the winter months and the safe for swimming.

We work closely with our guests to cater trips that are child-centric. Choose small-personalized hotels/homestays that are spacious and enjoyable for children and recommend/pre book activities for the family.

For many of our guests traveling as a family, India has been a moving experience for the children. At times tiring, but very rewarding. Well-travelled families find India a lot easier than others.
